Introduction

Sesshoumaru is the eldest son of Inuyasha's father, the Great Dog Demon, and therefore the older brother of Inuyasha. He was supposedly named by his father after an ancient sword that he'd found, "Toukijin". He loved his mother as well but would not show it outwardly; he did not want to make his feelings so obvious.

He also had a small dagger called Bakusaiga (Hakusaiga), that was given to him at birth by his father. When he put it in water, it would transform into a full sized katana with a white blade. It was said to have been forged from one of Tokijin's fangs in order to seal the powers of Tenseiga (which Tokijin had made from the other fang). He wielded Toukijin until he lost it in battle with Naraku many years ago

Sesshoumaru (殺生丸, "Destruction of Life") is a powerful and fearsome yokai, feared by most demons for being the strongest yokai ever to live in the InuYasha world.

Sesshoumaru (殺生丸, "Destruction of Life") is a powerful and fearsome yokai, feared by most demons for being the strongest yokai ever to live in the InuYasha world. He is Inuyasha's oldest son and serves as a major antagonist throughout much of his father's story.

He has been described as having an almost inhuman beauty; he was born with long golden hair that makes him appear like an angelic being whenever it gets blown back by wind or parted in different directions. He kept this style until its end when he cut off all his hair except for one lock which lay on top of his head (and later became part of Kagura's hair). His ears are pointed like those found on dogs' heads but they're slightly smaller than normal ones because they don't have any cartilage inside them yet either!

Sesshoumaru is the eldest son of Inuyasha's father, the Great Dog Demon. He is therefore older than Inuyasha and his brothers.

Sesshoumaru was named after the sword he found by his father, Tokijin. This sword was said to be used in ancient times and had supposedly been owned by one of the Gods of War, although no one really knew who it belonged to or how long ago it had been created.

When Sesshoumaru was born and began growing up around humans, they told him stories about this legendary blade—how it could cut through anything without leaving any trace behind. They also told him that if you named your child after a piece of metal, they would become stronger because they would have something to fight against on their journey towards becoming stronger than anyone else ever has before them.

He was afraid of the idea of being vulnerable, this was something that was difficult for him and he had never experienced it before with anyone else or even himself.

He also had a small dagger called Bakusaiga (Hakusaiga), that was given to him at birth by his father.

Sesshoumaru had a small dagger called Bakusaiga (Hakusaiga), that was given to him at birth by his father. It was made of pure silver and decorated with gold inlays, although it looked more like a small sword than an actual dagger. It had a hilt made of red leather with gold accents. The blade itself was also decorated with intricate designs along its length and edges that mimicked the pattern on Sesshoumaru's hair; this design was meant as an homage to Inuyasha's sword Tetsusaiga (Tetsusai).

When he put it in water, it would transform into a full sized katana with a white blade.

The Toukijin was a sword that Sesshoumaru found in his youth. It was a powerful sword that could cut through most anything, even if it didn't have any power inside it at all. It was given to him by his father, Inuyasha's father.

The blade consisted of two parts—a white center (blade) and black guard; however, because they were made from the same material, they looked like one solid piece when held together in both hands.

It was said to have been forged from one of Tokijin's fangs in order to seal the powers of Tenseiga (which Tokijin had made from the other fang).

It was said to have been forged from one of Tokijin's fangs in order to seal the powers of Tenseiga (which Tokijin had made from the other fang). The fang itself is said to have come from a sword called Tokijin, which was made by Kaguya-hime.

He wielded Toukijin until he lost it in battle with Naraku many years ago.

The fang that Seshoumaru lost was forged from Tokijin's own fang.

Toukijin is a Japanese word meaning "sword-blade", or in English, "bladed weapon". It is also the name of the sword wielded by the character Sesshoumaru (the main antagonist in Inuyasha)

He eventually inherited his father's sword "Tenseiga"; this allowed him to control souls and manipulate life forces.

  • Tenseiga is the opposite of Toukijin, which was created from a piece of Sesshoumaru's arm during his fight with Inuyasha.

Conclusion

In the end, Sesshomaru is a complex character who deserves many different interpretations. He is a self-serving, cold-blooded killer with little compassion for his foes. He has no interest in love or family (other than Inuyasha) but does respect those around him enough to protect them from harm; he enjoys fighting and killing demons, but only when necessary to protect himself or others from them.
